The Philadelphia Eagles host the Green Bay Packers this Sunday in the wild-card round of the 2024 playoffs. However, entering this week, questions loomed about the health of quarterback Jalen Hurts. Hurts sustained a concussion in the first quarter of the Eagles' Week 16 game against the Washington Commanders.

Since then, Hurts has been working through concussion protocol. That said, depending on the player and the severity of the concussion clearing protocol can be a short or long process. For Hurts, it took 17 days to return to the practice field as he did Wednesday.

Following Hurts' return to practice media was bound to ask his teammates how they thought he looked. According to Eliot Shorr-Parks, All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson said, "He was crisp. Efficient…Great practice.”

Eagles News: Jalen Hurts Looked Crisp in His First Practice Back

Even though Hurts was only a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, it's nice to hear that he looked crisp. When a player misses an extended period of time, it's typical for them to have a bit of rust. While all Hurts was likely doing during practice was working on the side with wide receivers, his looking crisp means he was probably making nice throws.

Hurts looking crisp on Wednesday is certainly a positive, but he will need to continue putting together a good week of practice. Hurts accomplishing this will help get the Eagles offense humming again, which they will need to beat the Packers on Sunday and make a Super Bowl run.
