The Philadelphia Eagles are the defending Super Bowl champions and with that distinction comes an expectation of a certain level of greatness throughout the organization. With the Eagles' selections coming toward the end of each round, the onus to go out and find players to fill the roster for the 2025 season was placed on the front office.

The front office did a good enough job throughout the draft to earn a grade of an A- from NFL.com's Chad Reuter but that doesn't mean they get to pat themselves on the back from now until training camp opens. There are undrafted free agents to be had and Philadelphia has found a prospect from the FCS level that has piqued their interest enough to be brought in for a tryout at the Eagles' rookie minicamp.

While Isaiah Greene was not a household name coming out of Campbell University, he did have a very productive career during his tenure there and was the Camels' top option at defensive back this past season. Standing at 6-foot-1 with long arms and good speed, Greene is a player who is not afraid to take on a challenge and thrives in man coverage, which is something he believes sticks out when you watch his film.

"My length and my speed," Greene said during a pre-draft interview with NFLDraftDiamonds.com. "I have long arms and you see that on film and I’m fast and I don’t get beat deep. Man coverage, anything I can play man in is where I live, I’m a press-man corner and that’s where I make my money."

Those being Greene's best traits make even more sense after he shared which All-Pro defensive back he followed closely for how he handled himself both on and off of the field during his storied career.

"Patrick Peterson," replied Greene. "He’s a top-two favorite cornerback of all time of mine and what he what he brought to the game and I would like to see how he got there, and just want to learn from him on and off the field and he is a good man off the field as well."

It remains to be seen what Greene will be able to do with the tryout he received with Philadelphia but if he is successful in his quest to make the Eagles roster then he will likely turn into a fan-favorite with an approach like this to the game of football.
