Even though the NFL trade deadline is officially in the rearview mirror, the Philadelphia Eagles are still making personnel moves ahead of their primetime Week 10 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

On Saturday, the Eagles added more experience to their defensive line via the practice squad, signing former Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Ta’Quon Graham. To make room for the veteran defender on the taxi squad, Philly parted ways with rookie outside linebacker Antwaun Powell-Ryland.

This is the third practice squad signing the Eagles have made this week. Earlier this week, the team signed wide receiver Danny Gray to the taxi squad, along with Patrick Johnson, who was let go from the 53-man roster.

The Eagles brought in the 26-year-old Graham for a visit on Friday after getting released by the Atlanta Falcons a couple of days prior, per Aaron Wilson of KPRC-2.

Eagles Take Flier on Ex-Falcons DT Ta’Quon Graham in Week 10

The veteran defensive lineman appeared in two games this season with the Falcons, as he was on injured reserve for the first seven weeks due to a calf injury that he sustained during training camp in August.

After having his 21-day practice window open on October 18, Graham eventually made his 2025 debut in Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers. The veteran defensive tackle racked up four combined tackles and a tackle for loss across 30 defensive snaps. He followed that up with 27 defensive snaps in the Falcons’ Week 8 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

Over his five-year career, Graham has been a rotational depth piece, appearing in 51 games with the Falcons, while only making 16 starts. He’s not much of a sack artist (1.0 sack), but can be effective as a run stopper.

The Eagles’ DT room is currently stacked on the 53-man roster with Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo, Byron Young, and rookie Ty Robinson. However, Philadelphia could use more defensive line depth on the practice squad, as the only other DT they have on the taxi squad is Gabe Hall, who has appeared in two games this season.

Needless to say, this is a low-risk, high-reward move for Philly that won’t cost them anything if it doesn’t work out. They can easily replace Graham with another guy. That said, having a veteran defender who can jump in at a moment’s notice is a good option to have for game days.
