Eagles Starter's Unexpected Missed Practice Puts Week 7 Status in Danger
The Philadelphia Eagles are sitting at 3-2 as they prepare for a divisional tilt on Sunday against the New York Giants. Philadelphia has won five of the last six games against New York but this game will have some extra juice.

Eagles News: Jalen Carter Misses Thursday’s Practice
According to Zach Berman of PHLY, defensive tackle Jalen Carter isn't practicing on Thursday after he wasn't on Wednesday's injury report. Carter was seen on the practice field, not in pads or with a helmet.

It could be a personal day for the former Georgia standout but not having your best defender practicing will turn heads.
In 2024, Carter has 10 total tackles, three tackles for loss, three pass deflections, and one sack. According to PFF, he has an 84.7 pass-rush grade and a 74.3 overall grade.
Philadelphia's defense has struggled for different stretches this season. That hasn't been Carter's fault so production could slip even more if he isn't active. Since he didn't have an injury designation on Wednesday, there is a good chance he could be back on the practice field Friday, with today being a personal day.
It's the first of three divisional games over the next five weeks for Philadelphia. Stacking wins within your division is crucial and it all starts on Sunday. Philadelphia hopes that Carter is out there disrupting plays like he normally does.
