The Philadelphia Eagles veteran Lane Johnson has been a part of elite offenses during his 11 seasons with the team. The All-Pro offensive tackle has been a big contributor on multiple top-five offensive units in his illustrious career but the 34-year-old is not happy with the current Eagles offense.

Coming off the bye week, the Eagles were able to take care of business against the Cleveland Browns but it was a less than convincing win. The Eagles were a 9.5-point favorite heading into Week 6 but they were a few costly Browns penalties away in the red zone from a deflating defeat. Lane Johnson wasn't particularly impressed with the performance of the offensive unit, who failed to score any points in the first quarter for the fifth straight game.

Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reported that Johnson called the offense "constipated" and that they have a lot of issues to fix.

"We’re a constipated offense...We’re definitely frustrated. We have a lot of ability, a lot of talent and we are making games more competitive than they need to be. It’s something that we’ve got to fix. As far as talent-wise, this is one of the more loaded offenses I’ve been a part of but we still have to go prove it."

Johnson has every right to be frustrated. Eagles fans are similarly disappointed with the lack of production from this team. In the past couple of weeks, the absences of DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown could have been used as an excuse but the star duo returned for the game against the Browns.

Very few teams possess the playmaking ability that the Eagles have, especially after the addition of Saquon Barkley. When you look at individual production, Barkley, Smith, Brown, and Jalen Hurts are all playing reasonably well. However, the team is average on all offensive metrics. If head coach Nick Sirianni can't get this talented group on track, his time in Philadelphia may come to an end sooner than anticipated.
