With Philadelphia Eagles QBs coach Doug Nussmeier following Kellen Moore to the New Orleans Saints as their new offensive coordinator, the Super Bowl champs are searching for their next QBs coach.

Since winning Super Bowl 59 earlier this month, the Eagles have made a couple of notable changes to their offensive coaching staff.

Philadelphia promoted Kevin Patullo from passing game coordinator/associate head coach to offensive coordinator. Then, the Eagles reportedly hired Miami Dolphins offensive assistant Parks Frazier as their new passing game coordinator.

No one knows who the Eagles will ultimately hire for the QBs coach position, but they have a coach from the collegiate ranks on their radar.

According to CuseNation (SyracuseOn247), Syracuse associate head coach offense/QBs coach Nunzio Campanile has interviewed for the Eagles’ QBs coach vacancy.

Campanile has spent the last two years at Syracuse serving in various roles. In 2023, he was the tight ends coach and the interim head coach for the final two games of the regular season.

Then when Fran Brown was hired, Campanile stuck around the program and had the chance to work with former Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord, who had a terrific 2024 season with the Orange. McCord completed 66 percent of his passes for 4,779 yards, 34 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.

Before arriving at Syracuse, Campanile spent five seasons at Rutgers, starting in 2018. With the Scarlet Knights, the New Jersey native held several titles, including running backs coach (2018), tight ends coach/interim head coach (2019, 2020-22), and interim offensive coordinator/QBs.

In addition to his college experience, Campanile has coached high school football at Bergen Catholic and Don Bosco Prep. Based on all that he’s done in his coaching career, the NFL looks to be the next step for Campanile. We will see if the Eagles will make the Syracuse coach their next QBs coach.
