The Philadelphia Eagles had arguably the best offensive line in the league this past year. That said, this offseason, Philadelphia has lost a few pieces to their offensive line. Right guard Mekhi Becton signed a two-year deal worth $20 million with the Los Angeles Chargers. In addition, they lost some depth along their line as backup tackle Fred Johnson signed a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Johnson made a handful of starts in 2024 and was the team's swing tackle. While his performances weren't amazing, he held up well enough. To address this loss, the Eagles have signed a veteran as a replacement.
According to Peter Schrager of NFL Network, the Eagles signed veteran offensive tackle Kendall Lamm to a one-year deal on Monday. The journeyman tackle adds Philadelphia as his sixth stop in his career.

Eagles Add Offensive Line Depth With Kendall Lamm
The 32-year-old lineman was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans in 2015. Lamm started 20 games in four seasons with the Texans and allowed 10 sacks.
Following his time in Houston, Lamm spent two seasons with the Cleveland Browns. In those two seasons, he was primarily a backup, logging just 195 snaps and allowing one sack. In 2021 and 2022, Lamm had stops in Tennessee and Detroit.
In those two stops, he logged 109 snaps and allowed two sacks. Lamm's final stop before signing with the Eagles was with the Miami Dolphins from 2022-2024. In Miami, he logged 1,157 snaps and allowed four sacks in three seasons. Furthermore, he proved to be a decent pass blocker, with the Dolphins only recording three games with a pass-blocking grade below 60, according to PFF.
Hopefully, Lamm isn't called on much in Philadelphia. However, if he is, you can bet Jeff Stoutland will have the veteran ready to go.
