The Philadelphia Eagles just can't stop winning.
They emerged as one of the more dominant teams in recent memory, relying on dominant play in the trenches with smart team-building to win the Super Bowl. By keeping the core intact to start free agency, the Eagles are once again primed to compete for a championship in 2025.
Unfortunately for the rest of the NFL but luckily for Philadelphia, general manager Howie Roseman just pulled off one of the biggest heists of free agency thus far.

Eagles Sign Former Giants LB Azeez Ojulari in Free Agency
According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Eagles have signed former New York Giants linebacker Azeez Ojulari on a one-year, $4 million deal. He'll support the league's best defensive line as a pass-rusher, making an enviable strength even more formidable as other teams have overspent on lesser talent.
Despite playing for one of the worst teams in the NFL, Ojulari has still been a standout player. He had eight sacks during his rookie campaign and six sacks last year despite playing in just 11 games, showcasing a unique skillset that'll become more dangerous when surrounded with guys like Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith.
The concern with this deal would be that Ojulari has only played in 11 contests in each of the last two campaigns due to injury. However, getting him for just $4 million accounts for that variable, indicating that Roseman has struck gold yet again. If Ojulari can stay on the field, he'll be a difference-maker who'll help elevate one of the elite position groups in the NFC.
Philadelphia is certainly familiar with Ojulari since he's spent his first four years with the Giants. Roseman and head coach Nick Sirianni's staff have had plenty of time to evaluate him, and they're obviously comfortable with the medicals at this price. The Eagles have been wise about finding high-upside, low-cost investments. Now, Ojulari is just the latest example.
Maybe this contract doesn't work out. That said, it's far more likely that this was a shrewd move than a bad one and fans should be thrilled about the heist.
