After completing the 18-week marathon known as the NFL regular season, the Philadelphia Eagles will open up the NFL playoffs at home on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.

Sunday’s Wild Card game will be a rematch from Week 1, where the Eagles beat the Packers, 34-29 in Brazil. Philadelphia got three total touchdowns in that contest from star running back Saquon Barkley.

However, these two teams are way different from when they played each other in September, making this one of the more intriguing matchups during wild card weekend. The Eagles are set to return to practice on Wednesday afternoon, which is important to note as fans await to hear the latest update on star quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Hurts has missed the last two games with a concussion he suffered in Week 15 against the Washington Commanders.

Eagles News: Philadelphia Moves Wednesday's Practice to Lincoln Financial Field

According to Zach Berman of The Athletic, the Eagles were scheduled to practice at 2:10 p.m. ET, with head coach Nick Sirianni speaking at 12:10 p.m. ET. However, the Eagles will now hold practice at Lincoln Financial Field at 3:35 p.m. ET, which they don’t do on Wednesdays, per Berman.

When fans heard the latest news about the practice change, they immediately brought up the team installing new grass/turf. That said, most fans aren’t focused on the practice change, but more so on Hurts’ status for Sunday.

As Berman highlighted on Twitter, if Hurts is on the practice field today that’s a good sign of his availability for Sunday’s game. The Eagles waived Ian Book on Tuesday, which was another hint that Hurts should be back.

Heading into Sunday's playoff contest, the Eagles are now 4.5-point home favorites over the Packers on FanDuel Sportsbook. Philadelphia initially opened as 3.5-point favorites.
