Finding concerns when it comes to the current Philadelphia Eagles roster is attempting to poke holes in the league's deepest unit. Eagles Attempt to Improve Depth Concerns in New Look Secondary
Mike Garafolo reported Philly's failed waiver claim, noting that the Saints, Dolphins, and Ravens had all attempted to land the corner as well. It pushes away any hope of how close the Eagles were to adding a surprise contributor. The Eagles' waiver positioning left little chance of adding a player who could instantly factor into the bottom of the rotation. Despite this, there is still no reason for major concern from Philly fans.
Aside from the secondary, all the most important pieces are set to return to defend last year's Super Bowl run. If another corner is needed in the next weeks of the season, options remain on the free agent and trade markets. The Eagles aren't stuck, having plenty of draft picks and able to create the needed cap space if an addition is needed.
