The Philadelphia Eagles are 3-2 on the season. They came out of their bye week with a 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 6.

They look to keep the momentum going as they host the New York Giants in an NFC East tilt in Week 7. While Philadelphia is focused on their next contest, teams are always looking towards the future.

And the latest report regarding Haason Reddick could end up being a positive for the Eagles.

Eagles News: Philadelphia Could Net a Second Round Pick From New York Jets

According to Josina Anderson, the Eagles will receive a 2026 second-round pick from the New York Jets if Reddick is traded to an NFC team. That new "condition" from the deal has been recently revealed.

Last week, Reddick was let go by his agents, and recently hired Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha to represent him.

Now, he's been given permission to seek a trade and could find his way out of New York without playing a snap for them. If he ends up on an NFC club, the Eagles would be massive winners, netting a second-rounder.

It could be difficult for teams as Reddick has expressed his desire to receive a long-term deal, making him one of the highest-paid EDGE rushers in the league. Whatever team acquires the Temple product will have to hand out a lucrative deal in addition to draft compensation. If they are comfortable dishing that out, they could snag Reddick.

The Detroit Lions just lost Aidan Hutchinson for the year and could be an option to trade for Reddick. If both sides pull the trigger, Philly fans will rejoice.

Even if it isn't Detroit, there are 14 other locations where he could land in the NFC but we'll have to wait and see.
