Former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Rasul Douglas is still in free agency with OTAs set to start later this month. Douglas hasn’t received much interest from other teams after he was a full-time starter with the Buffalo Bills last season, outside of the Miami Dolphins.
However, an NFC team is inquiring about Douglas’ services for the 2025 season. According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, the former Eagles cornerback is visiting with the Seattle Seahawks.

The 29-year-old Douglas began his career with the Eagles, who took him in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Douglas spent three years in Philadelphia, starting in 18 out of 46 games played.
However, the Eagles waived Douglas on September 5, 2020, after winning a Super Bowl as a rookie in 2017. The former third-round pick immediately joined the Carolina Panthers for the 2020 season.
After playing 14 games with the Panthers, Douglas signed a one-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders for the 2021 season. However, he was cut by the Raiders in August of that year and signed a day later by the Houston Texans.
The Texans only kept Douglas for six days before cutting him, but the Arizona Cardinals would give him a chance. The Cardinals signed the former Eagle to their practice squad, where he was picked up by the Green Bay Packers during the 2021 season.
Douglas flourished in Green Bay and evolved into a more starting-caliber NFL cornerback. He had nine total interceptions between 2021 and 2022. Then Douglas followed that up with an interception through the first seven games of the 2023 campaign.
Yet, the Packers shockingly traded Douglas and a 2024 fifth-round pick to the Buffalo Bills in October of that season for a 2024 third-round pick. After that trade, Douglas played the last year and a half with the Bills.
The former Eagle isn’t a shutdown cornerback and doesn’t have the most gaudy numbers, but he’s one of the better options in free agency that can help a CB-needy team.
