The Philadelphia Eagles will need all their firepower to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59 on Sunday. This includes a fully healthy defense to slow down Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense.

Luckily, last week the Eagles opened up veteran defensive end Brandon Graham's 21-day practice window in hopes of a Super Bowl return.

This week, many Eagles fans were likely monitoring Graham's practice status to gauge the chances of him playing on Sunday. According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, all signs point towards Graham being able to give it a go for the Super Bowl.

Brandon Graham Likely to Return for the Super Bowl

The 36-year-old defensive end tore his triceps in Philadelphia's Week 12 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Graham's injury placed him on injured reserve, with many, including himself, believing he was done for the season. Fortunately, that's not the case, meaning the 15-year pro will get to play in his third Super Bowl.

So far, Graham and the Eagles have won one Super Bowl and lost the other. During the 2017/2018 season, they beat the New England Patriots 41-38. Graham recorded two tackles, two QB hits, one sack, and one forced fumble.

On the other hand, in Super Bowl 57, Philadelphia lost to Kansas City 38-35. In that game, Graham played only 18% of the defensive snaps and was kept off the stat sheet.

That said, Graham is likely to have a low snap share again on Sunday, given the talent the Eagles have on the defensive line and his health. Nevertheless, Graham will most definitely be playing with a fire under him, with it potentially being his final career game.

If the 36-year-old plans on retiring after the Super Bowl, hopefully, he can help lead the Eagles to one more victory.
