The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a much-needed bye week, where they got rest after a grueling eight weeks. It's now time to focus on a playoff push in the second half, which Eagles fans are hoping to see culminate in another Super Bowl win. That journey will begin with a Monday Night Football showdown against the Green Bay Packers in Week 10.

The Eagles took the practice field on Thursday and got some good news on star wideout A.J. Brown, who is practicing, according to Dave Zangaro of NBCSPhilly. This is a nice step forward for Brown, who didn't play in the victory over the New York Giants in Week 8. Leading up to that contest, Brown was a non-participant in practice from Wednesday to Friday, so having him get on the field shows he could be ready to get back into action.

Eagles Get Great A.J. Brown Injury News on Thursday

A few weeks ago, head coach Nick Sirianni said that Brown is the type of player who can play without practicing (h/t CBS Sports), but that's never the position you want to put a player in. It appears the two weeks that Brown had off allowed his hamstring to rest up, so it looks like he'll be gearing up to play on Monday Night Football.

Despite all the chatter that has been around Brown, his role in the future, and all the trade speculation, the Eagles know he's a big part of the team going forward. They are a better offense with him on the field and involved.

This season, Brown has compiled 29 receptions for 395 receiving yards and three touchdowns. These aren't the numbers fans are accustomed to seeing from Brown, but it's been a whacky year for the passing game.

In the playoff victory over Green Bay in the Wild Card round, Brown finished with just one catch for 10 receiving yards in the win. That was a stark difference from Week 1 of the 2024 season, where Brown had five catches for 110 receiving yards and a touchdown.

How Brown responds to this practice and the remainder of the week will be interesting to watch. If he continues to practice in full capacity, he'll be out there against the Packers. Having your full collection of playmakers is major, as the NFC is ultra-competitive this season.

The Eagles and Packers would both love to leave Lambeau Field with the win this week. When the regular season wraps up, this game could be a massive one for tie-breaking purposes down the line, so having Brown out there is huge for Philadelphia.
