It’s been an eventful week for A.J. Brown. The Philadelphia Eagles star stirred up some controversy when he showed off a pair of New England Patriots jerseys signed by Tom Brady and Julian Edelman. The video sparked online rumors that had the 28-year-old heading to Foxborough but they have since been debunked, leading Brown to arrive in Philadelphia for voluntary workouts this week.
But just as Brown was returning to normalcy, he ran into some more personal drama and it adds another bizarre layer to what the star receiver has dealt with heading into draft week.
A.J. Brown Has Car Stolen in Return to Philadelphia
Brown took to social media on Monday morning to announce that his car had been stolen while working out at the Eagles’ team Novacare facility. While the whereabouts of the car were unknown, Brown made a post on his X account to make a deal with whoever stole his vehicle.
“To whoever stole my car last night, I’ll make a deal with you,” Brown began in the since-deleted post. “Bring back my car and I won’t press charges, or when I find you today, it’s going to be what it’s to be. Take it or leave it my guy.”
The rant that would have made Liam Neeson proud must have worked as Brown posted an update that his car was found by Philadelphia police later on Monday.
“I’m out here grindin’ for the Philadelphia Eagles and I gotta look for my car,” Brown said. “Come on, man. But look, we already got the whip. See, I told you to just turn the car back in. Just turn it in and now you gotta deal with the consequences.”

Brown even showed some humor over the situation as his son related the situation to his favorite TV show.
“When we were talking to the police, my little son come up and say ‘Hey Dad, Dad, Dad! Paw Patrol! Paw Patrol,’” Brown said. “I say ‘ Everybody’s got jokes this morning huh?’ Yeah and the joke’s on you.”
After catching 67 passes for 1,079 yards and seven touchdowns last season, Brown has his car back. But the only case he will be interested in solving now is finding another Super Bowl title with the Eagles.
