After getting off to a horrendous start to the 2025 campaign, there were plenty of Philadelphia Eagles fans who were out on the Adoree' Jackson experience. Fast forward to Sunday night after the Eagles' 16-9 victory over the Detroit Lions in Week 11, and the opinions of those in the City of Brotherly Love have rightfully changed.

It was a total team effort, but Philadelphia essentially shut down one of the most potent offenses the NFL has to offer and Jackson's play was a big part of the team's success.

After Howie Roseman made moves to bolster the defense by bringing in Michael Carter II and Jaire Alexander, Jackson seemed like a candidate to be the odd man out.

Instead, Jackson has put together his best stretch of play since joining the Eagles, and that continued against Detroit's star-studded WR group of Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams as the duo combined to catch just six of their 19 targets on the night.

Leading up to Sunday night's win over the Lions, Jackson reflected on his journey in Philadelphia thus far and noted how his faith helped him overcome the early shortcomings he faced on the field.

“I know, for me, I always think about no matter if it was good or bad, if I was put in that situation, that’s what the Lord had written out for me. He knew I could handle it, he knew that I could bounce back from certain things," Jackson said on Wednesday, via Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia. "That’s just how He made me. I don’t really worry or have too much concern about anything in life. Just keep the main thing the main thing. Just ball and focus on what I can do to get better as a person, as a player, physically and mentally.”

Given the way he has turned around his season in Philadelphia's back-to-back victories over the Green Bay Packers and Lions, respectively, there is reason to believe this defensive unit will only get better as the season moves forward.

Two areas of concern for the Eagles during the first half of the season were the team's inability to get a consistent pass rush and its lack of reliable depth in the secondary. Coming out of Week 11, the argument can be made that those issues are no longer as glaring as they once appeared to be.

The pass rush has received a noticeable shot in the arm from the addition of Jaelan Phillips, coupled with other members of the roster getting healthy and returning to the field. An improved pass rush has only helped Jackson and the rest of the secondary be more effective at their respective jobs, as well.

For Eagles fans, this is something to feel good about. For the rest of the league, however, this could just be nightmare fuel sent their way from Philadelphia.
