5. Alec Bohm

The 28-year-old third baseman isn’t set to become a free agent until 2027, but Bohm’s name has been floated around in various trade rumors in the offseason, which is not good heading into 2025.

The former first-round pick made his first All-Star team in 2024, hitting .280 with 15 home runs and 97 RBI. In the first half of the regular season, Bohm played at an All-Star level, slashing .295/.348/.482 with 11 home runs and 70 RBI.

However, Bohm’s production took a massive dip in the second half. The 28-year-old infielder slashed .251/.299/.382 with four home runs and 27 RBI. Bohm’s second-half struggles were apparent in the postseason as he hit .077 in 14 at-bats.

Bohm might not be on the roster if there was a deal to be had that would help the Phillies this offseason. Given the lack of talent at third base in free agency outside of Alex Bregman, the Phillies believe Bohm is at least part of their plans for the start of the 2025 season.

But at the same time, if Bohm fails to not drive in runs and doesn’t have competitive at-bats, it would not be shocking to see the team part ways by the trade deadline, if a third base upgrade is available.
