4. Jalen Hurts, QB

Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been a seamless leader for this team. Hurts has shown the ability to lead this team to a No. 1 seed and a Super Bowl appearance. The Oklahoma product is a dual-threat signal caller who gives opposing defenses fits.

This season, Hurts has thrown for 2,903 yards with 18 passing touchdowns. He added 630 rushing yards and 14 scores on the ground. His 66.1 QBR is the 10th best in the NFL.

Although Hurts is dealing with a concussion that he suffered in Week 16 against the Washington Commanders, he should be ready to roll when the postseason kicks off.

During the 2022 playoffs, Hurts went 58-of-87 for 579 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. As a rusher, he had 143 yards and five touchdowns. In Super Bowl LVII, Hurts had 304 passing yards, 70 rushing yards, and four total touchdowns.

When the team wins a Super Bowl, the QB typically plays a major role in that. Over the past five years, Patrick Mahomes, Matthew Stafford, and Tom Brady have been the starting quarterback of the championship-winning team.

For the Eagles to lift that Lombardi Trophy once again, Hurts must be on his A-game and fans should expect him to.

5. Saquon Barkley, RB

The addition of running back Saquon Barkley was an absolute home run. In March, the Eagles signed him to a three-year, $37 million, and he's been the engine of the offense.

The Penn State product leads the NFL in carries (345) and rushing yards (2,005) with 13 rushing touchdowns. He's reeled in 33 catches for 278 yards and two touchdowns in the passing game. Barkley has always had the athletic ability to thrive. He's flourished running behind this offensive line and with these weapons on the outside.

Teams have their hands full when the Eagles take the field, and Barkley plays a huge part in that. The 27-year-old has added 17 carries of 20-plus yards this season. He has 11 games with 100-plus rushing yards this season and carries that momentum into the playoffs.

Barkley is a player who can score anytime he touches the ball. The former No. 2 overall pick only has two playoff games under his belt but that doesn't matter. He's someone who just hasn't had the opportunity to play under the bright lights. You can blame the New York Giants for that, not Barkley.

He'll seize this chance and help lift the Eagles' offense to new heights in the playoffs. Just like he did during the regular season.
