3 Eagles Coaches Who Will Be Gone After the Super Bowl

Whether the Eagles win or lose to the Chiefs in Super Bowl 59, don't expect to see these three coaches back in Philadelphia for the 2025 season.

3. Doug Nussmeier, Quarterbacks

A coach's departure can sometimes set off a chain reaction, causing other staff members to follow the former to their new destination. Assuming that Moore is gearing up to leave the Eagles, don't be surprised if quarterback coach Doug Nussmeier follows him out the door.

After all, the duo has been nearly inseparable for years now. Their relationship began when they joined the Cowboys in 2018 with Moore coaching QBs while Nussmeier handled tight end duties. It didn't take long for Nussmeier to take over Moore's role after the latter was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2019.

Moore left Dallas to become the Los Angeles Chargers OC in 2023, resulting in his bringing in Nussmeier as the QB coach. The pair then kept the same roles when they joined the Eagles last year, further emphasizing their tight bond.

It's evident that Nussmeier will go wherever the Eagles OC takes him. In other words, it's hard to imagine the Portland, OR native stick around Philadelphia if Moore doesn't plan on returning for the 2025 season.
