5. The Eagles are smaller SB threats this year

Sure, the Eagles haven’t started as strong as most expected. But to take that and say they’re lesser Super Bowl threats is foolish.

After all, we’re talking about an offense loaded with star power and led by one of the league’s best dual-threat QBs. This unit is also anchored by a top offensive line that makes the team an equally strong threat through the air or on the ground.

Then there’s the defense that boasts disruptors at nearly every position and plenty of quality depth. And that side of the ball is missing some important players due to injuries, so this group’s full potential hasn’t even been unleashed yet.

The fact Philly has started 2-0 despite some troubles should make other teams more scared if anything. A lesser team would’ve folded under the pressure when things weren’t going their way and lost at least one of those contests.

Instead, the Eagles’ individual talents have helped the team win games while their respective units try to get on the same page or deal with health issues. Imagine the kind of damage they can do when they’re operating as a collective force.
