4. There’s real beef between A.J. Brown and Jalen Hurts

One moment from the Eagles’ Week 2 game that got way too much attention around the league was the viral exchange between Hurts and wide receiver A.J. Brown. The wideout was clearly animated about something, and Hurts was passionately responding.

Some took the clip and ran with it, claiming there’s trouble in paradise. I’d wager that’s what most opposing fan bases were hoping for, but it’s really a non-issue.

Hurts and Brown’s close bond is known across circles. That connection played a key role in Hurts successfully persuading Howie Roseman to trade for Brown in the first place, and we saw exactly what these two dynamic players can do during the 2022 season.

Both men are fierce competitors, so it’s no wonder they were hashing something out on the sideline when things weren’t completely going their way. While this video turned heads since it was caught on camera during primetime, there have surely been several other instances that fans haven’t seen behind closed doors.

And who’s to say a back-and-forth between Hurts and Brown is a bad thing? Obviously a certain issue prompted this tiff, so it’s good to see them communicating, even if it looked a little heated.

Anyone searching for a problem here will come up empty-handed. Brown subtly took responsibility after the team’s Week 2 win, and Sirianni said it was a 2 out of 10 where teammate arguments are concerned.
