4. Isaac Seumalo

Isaac Seumalo got the chance to go up against his former teammate in Week 1, having signed on to the wrong side of that 49ers-Steelers beatdown.

This one was just as ugly for Seumalo on a personal level as it was for the Steelers as a whole.

Both his pass blocking (54.6) and run blocking (38.3) grades from PFF were awful, and his overall grade of 40.1 ranked 65 among 72 graded guards.

That included ranking 179th among 188 offensive linemen across all positions in run blocking.

Truly one of the worst overall performances you’ll see from a starting guard.

That doesn’t mean there weren’t some bright spots. He did have a couple of fun reps to redeem himself a bit:

Things don’t get any easier for him in Week 2 either, having to face a Cleveland Browns defensive front that looked just as dangerous as the 49ers’ to start the season.
