Last night’s win over the Minnesota Vikings certainly had its worrying moments, but it wasn’t nearly as ugly as our Week 1 win over the New England Patriots. It never felt like we were really at risk of blowing our lead, and things were a lot cleaner considering we were playing on a short week.

Some players stood out way more than others though, and it certainly wasn’t a full-team performance that led to the win.

Here are the top studs and duds from the Eagles’ second win of the 2023 regular season.

Eagles Studs and Duds from Thursday Night Football

1. STUD: D’Andre Swfit

You already knew this pick before you clicked on the story.

D’Andre Swift’s 175 yards were not only a career-high, but they were the 11th-most in a single game for a running back in Eagles history, and the sixth-most since 2000.

Swift didn’t even get things going right from the jump. He looked good early, but it wasn’t until the second quarter that Brian Johnson decided to go all-in on the run.

Swift’s game had it all. He was incredibly consistent, never seeming to accept anything less than a 3-yard game on a carry, but he was explosive too.

And of course we loved to see Swift get rewarded with a touchdown for his massive 43-yard rush that capped off the win in the fourth quarter.

Sorry, Kenny Gainwell. D’Andre Swift is the new RB1 in Philly.
