3. Darrell Henderson

Maybe my judgement is just clouded by his tape coming out of Memphis (the guy averaged 8.9 yards per carry in back-to-back seasons!), but I kinda still think Darrell Henderson might have something to offer an NFL team.

He couldn’t stick on the Jags’ roster after being waived by the Rams last year, but neither of those teams have offensive lines anything close to what the Eagles have.

It’s also not like Henderson never showed any flashes in L.A. He averaged 4.5 yards per carry in 2020 and 4.6 in 2021. those aren’t elite numbers, but both years they were the best among Rams running backs. He was more efficient than Cam Akers, Sony Michel and Malcolm Brown. Also not elite competition, but still.

I’m still a believer in Henderson’s potential, especially if it’s just as a guy we’re hoping to keep on the practice squad as a just-in-case option rather than relying on him on gameday right away.
