Weather Could Have Major Impact on Eagles’ Season Opener

For Eagles fans, today is their version of Christmas morning. After waiting all offseason for their team to return, they get to watch Philadelphia take on the New England Patriots in Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season.

Fortunately for Eagles fans making the trip to Gillette Stadium, the rain is expected to slow down during the first half and dissipate by halftime.

On the bright side, Philadelphia is fortunate that the schedule-makers set this game at 4:25 p.m. ET instead of 1 p.m. If the game had started in the early window, the entire contest would have been affected by rain, guaranteeing a sloppy mess that would’ve been tough to watch.
