If you ask the Dallas Cowboys who their biggest rival is for the upcoming season, you know they’ll pick the Eagles. If you ask anyone in the NFC East who their most important battles this season are, they’ll pick an Eagles game.

But Haason Reddick threw some serious shade at the Cowboys by not even giving them the slightest mention when talking about the games he has circled on the calendar for 2023 in his interview with FanSided’s Peter Dewey.

This is an especially big dig because Reddick is a lifelong Eagles fan who went to Temple and considers the Eagles his hometown team. He knows about our NFC rivalries as well as anybody, and you know he feels them to his core.

But he decides to not even acknowledge Dallas as relevant.

Instead he’s focused on the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers as the biggest games of the upcoming season.

It’s obvious why he’s circled the Chiefs. The Super Bowl rematch in Week 11 is one of the biggest games on the entire NFL schedule for the year.

Reddick was quiet against the Chiefs too, not recording a single sack and making just one tackle, so you know he wants revenge both for his team and for himself on a personal level.

The 49ers did feel Reddick’s wrath, as he had 2.0 sacks and a forced fumble in the blowout win, but San Fran’s players simply could not stop beaking off, even after the loss. Getting to hammer them back down with another huge win in Week 13 is going to be incredibly satisfying.

As for the Cowboys games? The Eagles and Cowboys will meet at the Linc in Week 9, then in Dallas in Week 14. Reddick had 2.0 sacks in his last game against the Cowboys, which was a close 40-34 loss despite the fact that Gardner Minshew, not Jalen Hurts, was starting at quarterback.

Reddick’s not worried at all about the Cowboys this year, and Eagles fans shouldn’t be either.
