3. Cleveland Browns

The Browns have a ton of cap space (roughly $34 million), which means they have money to spend and more than enough room to absorb Barnett’s $5.5 million cap hit for 2023, per Spotrac.

Cleveland could be a good landing spot for Barnett for other reasons, too. The team has enough defensive talent in place that it wouldn’t be asking him to do too much in his first season back from injury, which would allow him to ease back in. A strong supporting cast could also make Barnett look better by hiding some of his flaws when he’s on the field.

The Browns are also in need of a defensive boost after a somewhat underwhelming season on that side of the ball last year. Cleveland ranked 20th in points and 14th in yards, which was disappointing given all the defensive talent in place.

Barnett would fit in nicely on a veteran team with a chip on its shoulder heading into 2023. He’d also get to play for a team that’s expected to contend, assuming Deshaun Watson bounces back in his first full season post-suspension.

Regardless of where Barnett ends up, make sure to bet on the Eagles at DraftKings Sportsbook. A $5 bet on Philly will unlock $200 guaranteed. The payout is instant, too. You don’t need to wait to find out if you do or don’t win your bet — the bonus pays out right after you place the wager.
