It’s an exciting time in the state of Pennsylvania when it comes to sports. The Phillies are in the driver’s seat to make the playoffs, while Eagles and 76ers’ seasons are right around the corner.

The Little League World Series is officially kicking off in Williamsport as well. PA will have some representation on hand, as the Media Little League team hopes to win the title after becoming champions of the Mid-Atlantic region.

Ahead of Media’s game on Wednesday against Texas, the Phillies’ organization sent a message of encouragement.

CEO John Middleton went first, congratulating Media for punching its ticket to the World Series. He said the Phillies will be watching from afar, and they can’t wait to spend some time with the PA team this Sunday before the Little League Classic.

Then manager Rob Thomson, along with several players like Trea Turner and Nick Castellanos, sent their own messages to the Media Little League team. Thomson wished Media manager Tom Bradley and his players the best of luck before their huge matchup. He even sent some advice about being on the big stage, reminding Bradley to enjoy the ride and make sure to capture plenty of memories.

This is just a classy display from Philadelphia’s organization. Obviously the team has the in-state connection to the Little League World Series, and Media being in it provides another link, but they by no means had to do this. The Phillies certainly have a ton to prepare for with the dangerous Blue Kays on tap, but they still took the time to give Media some extra good vibes before they take the field.

Hopefully the Phillies’ words bring Media extra luck Wednesday night. As of writing, Pennsylvania and Texas are tied 0-0.
