2. Week 12 vs. Buffalo Bills

Why am I circling Week 12 against the Bills and not the previous week’s rematch against the Chiefs? Because we’re talking must-win games. And for as much as we want a win on the road against the defending Super Bowl champions, it’s not going to break the Eagles’ season if they can’t pull it off.

Immediately turning around and playing the other favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl is where things get really crucial though — especially if we do happen to drop that game against KC.

To start with, this is a home game, and you really can’t afford to lose many home games if you want to earn that top spot in the conference and a first-round bye.

Second, we may well be coming off a loss in the previous game, and it’s crucial not to let that become the beginning of a losing streak. Righting the ship immediately would show off just how resilient this team is.

This is also the projected third-most likely Super Bowl matchup, so like the Chiefs game this will give the Eagles a chance to get the leg up on a potential championship opponent.
