Philadelphia Eagles legend and future Hall of Fame left tackle Jason Peters is to a deal allowing him to return to the NFL. After spending the 2021 season with the Chicago Bears, Peters is signing a deal with the Dallas Cowboys to protect quarterback Dak Prescott’s blindside for the 2022 season. This is according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The Philadelphia Eagles are well-familiar with Jason Peters and his strengths. Thanks to their extensive history together, they are also familiar with his weaknesses. While adding Peters was the right move for the Dallas Cowboys, the move is not likely to slow down the Eagles’ new-look defense in their matchups this season.

It will undoubtedly be weird seeing Jason Peters with Dallas this season, but it does admittedly lend one more storyline to the greatest rivalry in football.
