The Philadelphia Eagles are a team with a lot going for them in 2022.

They landed some blue chip prospects in Jordan Davis, Cam Jurgens, and Nakobe Dean, Pro Bowl-caliber veterans in Haason Reddick and A.J. Brown, and have the benefit of an additional year in Nick Sirianni’s scheme, which should prove valuable for existing players like Jalen Hurts, Dallas Goedert, and company.

With a second-place schedule, a re-tooled roster, and the wind at their collective backs, this could be the year Philadelphia proves that 2020 was a mere aberration and that while the last generation of talent may be on the way out, a new guard is rapidly forming that’s good enough to shoulder that burden moving forward.

It’s make or break time for these Philadelphia Eagles players.

Surely this was a bellwether offseason for the Eagles and one that will define the franchise for years to come, but for every new, exciting player who looks capable of elevating the team’s ceiling, there’s another player about to enter a full-on fight for their proverbial lives. Former starters will find themselves on the bench, rotational performers may find themselves inactive on game days, and players who once felt like they were franchise cornerstones might be looking for a new home in the not too distant future when they hit free agency.

Unfortunate? For the players in question, you bet, but hey, that’s life in the NFL; every new player is taking the spot of someone else, and even if rosters balloon out to 60, 70 players, that isn’t going to change. With that in mind, here are five players who have the most to lose based on their play with the Philadelphia Eagles this fall.
