Heading into the 2022 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles were a team in need of reinforcements.

They had a hole at wide receiver, holes in their secondary, and more than a few holes across their depth chart behind the starters pretty much across the board. But hey, with ten picks to play with, Howie Roseman would certainly have every opportunity to fill out his depth chart at the very least, even if the chances of high-end talent falling to the team at 15 and 18 was anything but guaranteed.

Fortunately, Roseman was able to address many of his team’s issues; he just went about it in a way that almost no one could have expected.

The Philadelphia Eagles had a very good 2022 NFL Draft.

Landing two of the top-15 players on Daniel Jeremiah’s big board, Jason Kelce’s favorite college center, two more choice Day 3 performers, a very intriguing undrafted free agent class, and a Pro Bowl wide receiver to boot, the Eagles received A grades from almost ever outlet that grades such things, including Skip Bayless, who said Philadelphia might just be better than his beloved Dallas Cowboys.

But which pick was the best pick? Which member of the Philadelphia Eagles’ latest class of players will have a 10-year career, will hit the ground running as a rookie, or top out as a solid backup who never quite reaches the level of full-time starter? Let’s look at all five picks, plus some UDFAs, and A.J. Brown for good measure to evaluate the quality of the player versus when they were selected, how much they cost, and who could have been picked instead.
