After a long and winding preseason filled with ups – signing Haason Reddick, Zach Pascal, and Kyzir White – downs – not signing about a dozen other players, including the “Honey Badger” – and palace intrigue, the Philadelphia Eagles are a mere calendar day away from the 2022 NFL Draft, where the fate of the franchise both immediate and long-term will come into much greater focus.

Will the Eagles trade up and secure an elite player like Kayvon Thibodeaux? Or maybe trade down with a quarterback-needy team in the hopes of securing even more assets for the future? Goodness, could they draft a quarterback, someone like Kenny Pickett, who they were linked to during the offseason?

The bad news? Only time will tell. The good news? That time can be counted in hours, not weeks, months, or seasons.

That’s right, as the Philadelphia 76ers attempt to close out the Toronto Raptors in six a literal country away, the Eagles will be taking part in the first of three days of 2022 NFL Draft bliss in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada, which isn’t quite as nice as the City of Brotherly Love but hey, it could be worse; it could be back in Dallas.

The Philadelphia Eagles have a wealth of options in the 2022 NFL Draft.

So, with a day to do last-minute evaluations, stock up on snacks/coffee, and watch the so-bad-it’s-good Kevin Costner movie Draft Day, one would think this particular Wednesday would be all about resting and relaxing, right? Maybe for you, but after taking the easy way out all season with incomplete mock drafts, why not put all of those evaluations to good use and create the lone, official Section 215 mock draft? So, without further ado, allow me to show you my ten-step plan to fix the Philadelphia Eagles via the 2022 NFL Draft.
