Michigan linebacker David Ojabo cheers the crowd before a play against Ohio State during the first half at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021. /

811. . Defensive End. Wolverines . David Ojabo. 14. player

David Ojabo is quite the interesting prospect. He is no sure thing but if he touches anything close to his ceiling, then opposing offenses are in serious trouble. With seemingly unlimited athletic potential, Ojabo will go as far as his work ethic takes him.

If there is one player in Philadelphia to teach Ojabo about work ethic, it’s fellow Michigan alumn, Brandon Graham. Twelve years ago, Graham was the thirteenth selection by the Eagles and proceeded to undergo one of the greatest stories of growth in Philadelphia.

While Graham and Ojabo have few similarities outside of a shared university and jersey number, the young edge-rusher would be a worth heir to BG’s throne.

It’s no well-kept secret that the Eagles are in need of edge support. Brandon Graham is coming off of a serious injury and isn’t getting any younger. Meanwhile, Derek Barnett is set to leave for free agency after the season. The Eagles are in desperate need of reinforcements. If Howie Roseman decides to target an edge rusher early, Ojabo should be among the team’s top targets.

After piling up 11 sacks and five forced fumbles in just his fourth year of playing the sport, Ojabo showed off his sky-high potential. He may end up being a late bloomer like Graham, but the talent is there; it’s just up to Ojabo to unlock it.

The Eagles will be in search of more successors than just Brandon Graham’s, including one for one of the most unique players in NFL history.
