Safety

Anthony Harris, Rodney McLeod, K’Von Wallace, Marcus Epps, Grayland Arnold

In this month’s edition, I have the Philadelphia Eagles bumping up their safety room from four players to five. With the team failing to add another cornerback to the roster between my first prediction story and now, I have Grayland Arnold penciled in as a back-of-the-depth-chart edition.

Arnold was a promising UDFA signing last year, and flashed some potential during his limited NFL action. He has the versatility to play both safety and cornerback, hence why I’m prioritizing him here.

Outside of Arnold, the likes of Anthony Harris, Rodney McLeod, K’Von Wallace, and Marcus Epps should all be viewed as roster locks. Harris and McLeod are likely to start all season long, with Wallace and Epps filling in as the respective backups.

The team did add veteran safety Andrew Adams early in the offseason process, but I’m struggling to see a spot for him on the 53-man.

Special Teams

Rick Lovato, Jake Elliott, Arryn Siposs

No changes here, the Philadelphia Eagles special teams unit is locked in barring something crazy happening.

Jake Elliott is coming off a disastrous 2020 season, but his contract situation has him penciled into a job through at least 2021.
