Tight End

Dallas Goedert, Jack Stoll, ???

I’m kinda breaking the rules with this one, but I honestly have no idea what the Eagles plan at tight end is this offseason. They didn’t draft any tight ends during the 2021 Draft, and only added one UDFA in Jack Stoll, who is more of a blocking tight end/special teamer.

Zach Ertz is currently still on the roster, but reports have already leaked that he doesn’t plan on showing up for any offseason workout programs. The longtime Eagles veteran has remained consistent all spring in his desire to be traded/released.

Dallas Goedert is the obvious choice at TE1, and I have Stoll making the team simply because he’s a rookie who can block. From there? I have no clue.

The rest of the Philadelphia Eagles tight end room looks as such:

-Caleb Wilson

-Jason Croom

-Tyree Jackson (former QB)

-Hakeem Butler (former WR)

One of these guys is going to have to step up and take hold of a roster spot, it’s likely just going to depend on who impresses the most during training camp/preseason. Hakeem Butler and Tyree Jackson are both major wildcards due to their recent position change, and the likes of Caleb Wilson and Jason Croom are rather low-ceiling players.
