While the Philadelphia Eagles big offensive line addition this offseason was former Alabama center Landon Dickerson, the team opted to double dip by way of adding Indiana’s Harry Crider as an undrafted free agent.

A multi-year player on the Indiana offensive line, Crider has experience taking significant snaps at both center and left guard (with just a few at right guard). The Eagles love themselves some versatile linemen, so I’m sure this is something that played a role in their decision to add Crider.

Crider also put up an impressive 31 reps on the bench press at Indiana’s pro day this past offseason, the second highest total amongst all draft eligible centers.

The Eagles are actually rather set across their interior offensive line at the moment, especially with the addition of Dickerson. Issac Seumalo, Jason Kelce, and Brandon Brooks have the starting roles locked down, and the organization is still internally high on the likes of Luke Juriga and Nate Herbig.

It’s hard to imagine the Eagles carrying Crider on their 53-man roster this season , but he could be a strong candidate for the practice squad. The Eagles are always doing their best to churn out developmental pieces along the offensive line – stashing away Crider for the 2021 season would make sense.
