Week 14 Bye

Everybody is a winner on Bye Week!

Week 15 vs Washington: Win

Washington managed to add a few key players via free agency, but with Ryan Fitzpatrick set to be their starting QB in 2021, I’m pretty confident the Philadelphia Eagles can at least win one against them at home.

Week 16 vs New York (Giants): Win

Similar to the Washington discussion, I still think the Eagles are good for a season split against New York, despite the major offseason additions that they made. I’ll take Philly’s chances at home here in Week 16.

Week 17 @ Washington: Loss

This game set to be played down in the District, I got Washington taking care of business at home to split the season series with Philly.

Week 18 vs Dallas: Loss

The news nobody wanted to hear, I have the Philadelphia Eagles getting flat out swept by the Cowboys this season. My guess is that Philly will be fighting for draft position by the time Week 18 rolls around, and will have little motivation to field a competitive team (just like they did against New York in 2020).

So that puts the Eagles at 6-11, which seems pretty appropriate considering the state of the roster at the moment. Maybe they snatch a game against a playoff team here or there, or fare better against the NFC East than I predicted, but ultimately speaking that 5-8 win range feels just right.
