Week 4 vs Kansas City: Loss

I don’t even need to justify this one, the Chiefs are the second best team in the NFL and Patrick Mahomes is debatably the best QB in football. Andy Reid should steamroll his former team.

Week 5 @ Carolina: Win!

Five losses in a row just feels like too many, and the Panthers are likely to be a pretty “meh” team this season. The additions of Sam Darnold and Jaycee Horn definitely made them better this past offseason, but this is the first game of the schedule where I feel like the Eagles may actually have more talent across their entire roster.

Week 6 vs Tampa Bay: Loss

Again, this one needs no justification. The Buccaneers are the best team in the NFL and Tom Brady is the GOAT. 1-5 start to the season.

Week 7 @ Las Vegas: Loss

This one could go either way in all honesty, so I’m deferring to the fact that it’s a home game for the Raiders. Las Vegas was almost a playoff team in 2020 too, and people tend to underrate Derek Carr just a tad.

Week 8 @ Detroit: Win

Replacing Matthew Stafford with Jared Goff is a downgrade, and Penei Sewell isn’t enough by himself to mask the many issues that the Lions have at the moment. Detroit is full-on rebuilding, and are probably shooting for a top-five pick next season in all honesty.
