The Philadelphia Eagles select…

54. Pick Analysis. TE. Georgia. Tre' McKitty. 189. player. Scouting Report

A player whom I highlighted in my recent story on late-round tight end prospects, Tre’ McKitty would be a great player to target at the top of Day 3.

He showed great promise as a pass-catcher prior to some knee issues in 2020, and has the longterm potential to develop into a starting TE2 alongside Dallas Goedert.

Rachad Wildgoose Jr.. Pick Analysis. Wisconsin. 224. player. 54. Scouting Report. CB

While the trade-up for Surtain II at the top of the first round was a great start, the Eagles still need a goofy amount of cornerback depth moving forward. They currently have one, maybe two starters in Darius Slay and Avonte Maddox, and essentially zero high-upside backups behind them.

Rachad Wildgoose Jr. has experience in both the slot and on the boundary, which would boost up the Eagles’ CB depth quite significantly.

Plus his last name is Wildgoose – Hall of Fame caliber stuff right there.

Pick Analysis. QB. Mississippi State. 54. Scouting Report. K.J. Costello. 225. player

Nothing too fancy here, the Eagles need a third quarterback and K.J. Costello fits the mold that Howie Roseman typically targets.

A 6-4 strong armed QB with a significant amount of college experience, Costello is a fine candidate to run QB3 duties behind Joe Flacco and Jalen Hurts in 2021.
