Honorable Mentions (and why they didn’t crack the list)

A couple players who have been routinely mocked to the Eagles didn’t make my big board, here’s why:

DeVonta Smith, WR:

If my big board was six players long, Smith would’ve made it at number six. While the reigning Heisman winner has plenty of supporters amongst Eagles nation, his low bodyweight likely causes Howie Roseman to value Waddle above him at WR

Micah Parsons, LB:

They’re not drafting a linebacker at 12.

Christian Darrisaw, OT:

Another offensive line prospect that the Eagles are likely going to study quite a bit, Slater edges Darrisaw out due to his positional versatility. Slater can play everywhere, whereas Darrisaw projects primarily as a left tackle.

Alijah Vera-Tucker, IOL:

A player who might be even more versatile than the before mentioned Slater, I’d probably have Vera-Tucker as prospect #7 on the Eagles’ big board. He can play everywhere, but better projects as a guard whereas Slater better projects as a tackle. Tackle > guard.

Caleb Farley, CB:

Caleb Farley is awesome, but his recent back surgery is going to see him slip come draft night. I’d take him at 37 if he’s still there!

Jeremiah Owusu-Koromoah, LB:

Still not drafting a linebacker at 12!!

Any of the quarterbacks:

I actually think Howie Roseman would jump at the opportunity to draft someone like Justin Fields if he were to slip to 12, but I just don’t think that’s going to happen. Four QBs could be going in the top-four this year.
