Elijah Moore, Ole Miss

A much different type of player compared to that of Brown, Elijah Moore is a guy who operates best out of the slot. Standing in at a stocky 5-9, 184lbs – Moore almost has a bit of a “running back feel” to him when he catches the ball. His route running isn’t the best compared to other receivers in this year’s class, but his ability to create yardage after the catch and make defenders miss in the open field is pretty special.

Moore’s 1,200+ scrimmage yards and 8 TDs for Ole Miss last season speak for themselves.

While Moore wouldn’t solve the Eagles’ need for a true WR1 on the outside, he does give their offense some much needed explosiveness out of the slot position. Philly hasn’t had a true burner in the slot since Nelson Agholor departed last offseason, and he wasn’t anything too special to begin with.

Moore is currently ranked as the 67th best prospect in this year’s class by The Draft Network, so Philly would likely need him to slip down into the third-round to seriously consider him a draft target. It’s not the worst strategy in the world, as Roseman would likely prefer to use his second-round pick on something defensive or offensive line related anyways.
