Los Angeles Chargers: Denzel Perryman, LB

Did we mention the Philadelphia Eagles need to address the linebacker position?

Well, we’re going to mention it again.

After drafting Kenneth Murray in the first round in 2020, the Los Angeles Chargers look like they have their long term guy at linebacker. Kyzir White and Uchenna Nwosu are two other young linebacking pieces for the defense, and the hopeful return of Derwin James can add another hybrid defender for the Chargers.

With all of that youth and depth at the position, Denzel Perryman could see himself in a new city for work in 2021. With six years of experience under his belt, Perryman could be a good stop-gap linebacker for the Eagles in 2021. The group they have now is very young and could use a veteran in the linebacker group to teach and help them in their development.

Howie Roseman signed Perryman’s teammate Jatavis Brown in free agency in 2020, so there is a clear history of the Eagles having an interest in ex-Chargers linebackers.

If the price is right and both sides want to work on a one-year deal, Perryman would be a great option for the Philadelphia Eagles
