Las Vegas Raiders: Raekwon McMillan, LB

For all intents and purposes, we are going to leave out a Nelson Agholor to the Philadelphia Eagles reunion. Agholor had a good year and found himself in the Raiders’ offense, but it isn’t worth the new headache of having him back with the Eagles.

Now, let’s shift our gears to the other side of the ball at Raiders linebacker Raekwon McMillan. The former second-round pick from Ohio State started off his career on a good note with the Miami Dolphins. As a rookie, McMillan recorded 105 total tackles and two forced fumbles as a starting linebacker. Very nice start.

The next two seasons were more of a decline, as he saw less playing time and an eventual trade to the Raiders due to a loaded linebacking core in Miami. McMillan still saw less playing time in his lone season with the Raiders and now finds himself looking for a new team in 2020.

Although he’s seen less time on the field, this shouldn’t stop the Philadelphia Eagles from bringing him in. McMillan is very good in defending the run and come up to make a play when called upon. Having that Ohio State background and going against Big Ten competition also played a big part in his move to the NFL. He’s very athletic and would be one of the best linebackers immediately on the Eagles roster. It shouldn’t cost a ton to bring him in, and McMillan is definitely worth looking into.
