The Philadelphia Eagles select…

Tarron Jackson. 54. Scouting Report. EDGE. Coastal Carolina. Pick Analysis. 230. player

With Vinny Curry set to hit the open market this offseason and Casey Toohill off in Washington, the Philadelphia Eagles definitely have an underrated need at edge. They need some cheap DEs, and Tarron Jackson fits the mold of someone who could do well in the Eagles scheme.

At 6-2, 260 lbs, the Coastal Carolina edge rusher definitely has the size to line up in a stereotypical  4-3 front. Jackson also logged 10.0 sacks during the 2019 season, at least showing there’s some serious pass-rushing potential to be had.

Jackson is obviously a developmental project this late in the draft, but his size alone makes him a worthwhile investment.

54. RB. Spencer Brown. UAB. 256. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

The Eagles lacked depth in their running game last season, specifically when it came to power running. Spencer Brown is a 230+ pound bruiser who can take some hits running up behind the middle of the offensive line.

Ultimately speaking, I think the Eagles should try to snag someone like Marlon Mack on a one-year deal to pair up alongside Miles Sanders in 2021. However, Brown would be a nice change of pace/developmental project at RB3 on the depth chart.

Worst case scenario he’s a guy you could line up at fullback on goal-line situations once in awhile.
