The Philadelphia Eagles need to bid farewell to these 6 free agents

Corey Clement
Another Super Bowl 52 hero, Corey Clement’s time with the Philadelphia Eagles is all but over.
Brought back on the idea that he had fully recovered from all of his previous injuries, and was ready to contribute as a solid backup once more, Clement looked like a shell of himself in 2020. He saw just 21 carries for 75 yards (one rushing TD), and was a borderline non-factor in the passing game. He looked slow and almost lethargic, not really providing that same spark that he did way back in 2017.
The Eagles rushing attack was frustrating this season, as it seemed like Doug Pederson just really didn’t want to use it all that much. Miles Sanders saw an oddly small workload, and Boston Scott was only really used in large sample sizes when he had to start in place of Sanders. This could’ve been poor coaching on Doug’s part, but it also could’ve just been a lack of trust in his running backs. Replacing a guy like Clement with a more athletic back in the draft could go a long way in terms of getting Doug to regain trust in his ground game.
Clement will always be remembered for his iconic Super Bowl performance, but just like the other positions, the Eagles need to start getting younger (and faster) at running back.
