They beat the New Orleans Saints!

Arguably the most fun game of the season, the Philadelphia Eagles 24-21 victory over the New Orleans Saints in Week 14 was an absolute thriller. It’s always a blast to watch Sean Payton lose a football game, and Jalen Hurts made some serious waves during his first career NFL start.

Going up against one of the best defenses in the entire NFL, Hurts walked away with 273 total yards of offense and zero turnovers. Miles Sanders also rushed for 100+ yards and two touchdowns, combining for one of the best overall ground performances that we’ve seen from an Eagles team in quite some time.

The Philly defense showed up to play that afternoon as well. Going up against the gadget player that is Taysom Hill, the Eagles defensive line caused absolute chaos. They recorded five sacks and 12 quarterback hits, and also forced a fumble and an interception.

It was a fairly dominant win on all accounts for the Eagles, and one that at the time had fans of the team thinking playoffs for a brief moment. While the win ultimately did more harm than good (hurt their draft position), it was still a wildly fun game to watch.
