Scouting Report. Gators. 840. Pick Analysis. Wide Receiver. Kadarius Toney. . player

One of the most dynamic players in the country and the most electric player you will see in the SEC Championship game.

Florida’s Kadarius Toney is going to be one of the “must watch” players to see in this game on Saturday. The skillset he possesses puts him in a category of his own in college football.

He’s not the biggest receiver out there, standing only at 5-foot-11. But he plays a lot bigger than he actually is, making sure everyone knows where he is in the game.

Nicknamed the “human joy-stick,” Toney brings his video-game-like ability to the football field. Not only being a great route runner, but he is also elite when it comes to getting yards after the catch. His ability to stop and go in racking up extra yards is one of the best in the entire country. When the ball is in his hands, it’s a serious question as to who can stop him in the open field.

Aside from his offensive presence, Toney has been big when it’s come to special teams. When thrown onto the field for punt returns, Toney is always a threat to take one to the house, as he’s done so this year. On kick returns, he’s good for almost 23 yards per kickoff return.

His versatile skillset gives him a lot of Percy Harvin vibes from the Florida team that won national championships in 2006 and 2008. The threat of an end-around, quick hitter, or deep shot is always there, and Toney can beat you in several ways.

Due to a strong wide receiver class, Toney will most likely see himself taken on Day 2 in rounds two or three in the NFL Draft. Regardless of where he falls, it would be wise for the Eagles to take a look at adding another dynamic playmaker to their offense.
