Best Bets for the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers in Week 13.

The Philadelphia Eagles head into Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers in a Sunday afternoon matchup in Week 13.

Another game with two teams that seem to be going in the wrong direction. The Eagles can’t find their identity and are coming off of a third straight loss on Monday night, while the Packers just blew out the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football. Carson Wentz can’t seem to get out of his own way this year, while Aaron Rodgers is putting up another MVP caliber season. Eagles fans could be in for a long afternoon, again.

As bad as it sounds, there are some opportunities for Eagles fans to make some money on the different bets available for this game. All it takes is one game to get a team going, so why not tomorrow be the game? Before we kickoff, here are the three best bets for Sunday’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers. All odds and lines are provided by the FanDuel Sportsbook.

Miles Sanders Over 15.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

It’s been a huge mystery as to why the Philadelphia Eagles haven’t unleashed Miles Sanders this season. His ability to be a huge contributor in the run and pass game hasn’t been fully utilized in 2020. Sanders is averaging the 4th best yards per carry and 5th best rushing yards per game, but only has the 28th most carries on the season.

This week has to be the week the Philadelphia Eagles let Sanders loose.

Not only should Sanders be fed the ball in the running game, but he also needs to be utilized in the passing game, against a team who is vulnerable to opposing running backs.

While giving up 114 rushing yards per game, the Green Bay Packers are also accustomed to giving up yards to running backs through the air. On the season, the opposing team’s leading running back has averaged 41.7 receiving yards per game. Opposing running backs have gone over the 15.5 receiving yard mark in nine of the eleven games this year against the Packers.

If the Philadelphia Eagles want to keep the game close and put points on the scoreboard, they will use their best running back to their advantage and attack the defense where they are vulnerable. Expect Miles Sanders to have a big role in the passing game this week.
