Dallas Goedert establishes himself as a true TE1.

With Zach Ertz likely set to move on from Philadelphia in the offseason, Dallas Goedert projects as the team’s TE1 of the future. He looked really good down the stretch in 2019, and his athleticism is through the roof, leading many to believe that he could be a top 10 tight end in all of football.

Goedert’s 2020 campaign has unfortunately been dampened due to injury (broken ankle), and he didn’t look 100% against Dallas two weeks ago. However, now coming off a full week of rest, Goedert should be primed to establish himself as Wentz’ new go-to target underneath.

While guys like Travis Fulgham and Jalen Reagor are quickly establishing themselves as promising pass-catchers on the outside, Wentz really needs that “security blanket” underneath that he can consistently rely on. It obviously used to be Ertz, and now it should be Goedert.

I’m expecting a fairly big game out of #88 this weekend. Hopefully a game where he leads the Eagles offense in targets too.

Next. 10 infielders the Philadelphia Phillies could target in the offseason. dark

Despite the lackluster records that the two teams possess, this Week 10 showdown between the Eagles and the Giants holds some fairly large NFC East implications. A commanding win for Philly likely sets them up for another division title, whereas a win for New York could see them sneak back into the playoff race.

In terms of an actual score prediction? I got the Eagles winning this one 27-13.
